Refund Policy

Short Version
You can cancel your subscription at any time from your account page or by emailing us. Cancellation stops future charges and ends access at the end of the current billing period. We do not offer prorated refunds for partial months. If you run into an exceptional circumstance — a double charge, a billing error, or a serious service outage that affected your use — contact us and we will review on a case-by-case basis.
How to Cancel
You can cancel your subscription in two ways:
- From your account page on the dashboard (self-service)
- By emailing [email protected] from the email address you used to subscribe
Cancellation is processed immediately. Your subscription remains active through the end of the current billing period (you don't lose access the moment you cancel), and no further charges occur. We do not prorate or refund the unused portion of the current month.
Exceptional Circumstances
We do not offer a standing money-back guarantee. That said, we review specific refund requests on a case-by-case basis when one of the following applies:
- Billing errors. Double charges, charges after cancellation, or charges at the wrong tier — these are always refunded once verified. Typically same day.
- Unauthorized charges. If someone else used your payment method without your permission, contact us immediately and we will refund and investigate.
- Serious service outages. If the platform was unavailable for an extended period during your billing cycle, we may issue a prorated credit or partial refund. This is judged case-by-case and depends on the severity and duration of the outage.
- Data accuracy incidents. If a documented error in our data affected your use of the platform during a billing cycle, we may issue a partial refund depending on severity.
For any of these, email [email protected] from your subscription email address. Include your account email, the approximate date of the issue, and a short description. We respond within 2 business days.
What Is NOT Refundable
- Partial months used. After you cancel, the current billing period is not prorated or refunded.
- Change of mind after use. Access to the platform and its data is delivered the moment you subscribe. Subjective dissatisfaction after using the product is not grounds for a refund under a standing policy. If you believe the product is materially different from how we describe it, contact us and we will review.
- Institutional tier weekly reports already delivered. Because Institutional content is delivered on a scheduled weekly cadence and provides immediate value from the first report, refunds for Institutional tier are limited to billing errors, unauthorized charges, and cases where no reports were delivered during the billing period. See below.
- Disputes already filed with your card issuer. If you have initiated a chargeback or payment dispute through your bank, please withdraw it before requesting a refund from us. Double-processing a dispute can trigger fraud flags and delay the return of your money.
Institutional Tier ($1,499/month)
The Institutional tier delivers weekly deep-dive reports published simultaneously to all Institutional subscribers under the SEC publisher's exclusion recognized in Lowe v. SEC, 472 U.S. 181 (1985). Because these reports are impersonal broadcast publications delivered on a fixed cadence, and because each report provides immediate and independent value from the moment of delivery, the Institutional tier is not covered by any money-back guarantee.
Institutional subscribers may cancel at any time to stop future charges; cancellation ends access at the end of the current billing period. Refunds for Institutional are limited to billing errors, unauthorized charges, and cases where no reports were delivered during the billing period.
Chargeback Policy
If you believe there has been a billing error or unauthorized charge, please contact us first at [email protected]. Most billing issues can be resolved within 24 hours.
Filing a chargeback with your card issuer without first contacting us can delay the return of your money by weeks, and may result in your account being suspended pending investigation. Chargebacks cost us significant time and money even when the underlying issue was a simple fix. We are motivated to resolve your issue quickly and fairly — please give us the chance before escalating.
Refund Processing
Approved refunds are issued back to your original payment method via Stripe. Stripe typically returns funds to your card or bank within 5–10 business days, depending on your card issuer. We do not issue refunds via check, wire, or alternative payment methods.
The Entity Behind Yes No Capital
Yes No Capital LLC is a limited liability company registered in the State of Minnesota. All refund requests and billing disputes are handled by Yes No Capital LLC, the merchant of record for all Yes No Capital subscription transactions. Legal notices should be directed to [email protected].
